Short Agriculture ETF

There are are currently four short or inverse commodity ETFs that give negative exposure to agricultural commodities. They are all issued by Powershares. Two of these inverse etfs short a broad commodities basket that includes wheat and corn but also includes gold and oil. Those are the (DDP) and (DEE). The other two are purely short food related agriculture ETFs. They are short or double short a basket of agriculture commodities that include wheat, corn, soybeans, and sugar. Those two short agri etfs are (ADZ) and (AGA). As you will notice, those four are technically ETNs or exchange traded notes. They do trade similar to an ETF but they are actually a fixed income instrument (a note) that is backed by the full faith and credit of the issuer, in this case, Deautsche Bank.

Below is a current complete list of short Agriculture ETFs available. ETF or in this case ETN trading symbols are in brackets.
